Training Now are specialists in health and social care training, drawing on over 35 years’ experience within the sector.
Our senior management and delivery team have extensive experience and understanding of managing contracted work and delivering to local government organisations for a range of services.
We work in partnership with government departments and independent organisations to deliver programmes of learning that include apprenticeships, short and mandatory care training. We also deliver employability training and support sourcing opportunities in employment and/or further training.

Work with us
We work with a wide range of partners nationwide, including independent organisations, government departments and health and social care providers, to provide training and support to thousands of people every year.
We also deliver all in-house training and apprenticeships across the national Agincare group, including care and nursing homes, home care, extra care, supported living and live-in care services.
Proven track record
Our extensive experience in contracted work includes local government, such as Brighton and Hove City Council plus other partners like the NHS, YMCA and work primes such as Abilities and Prospects.
We have also worked in partnership with government departments such as The Department of Work and Pensions. This saw us recently deliver a programme of learning to people referred to us who require employability training, and support in finding opportunities in employment and/or further training. We have also delivered functional skills qualifications to people referred to us at our training sites across the country.
Further partnerships include working with Dorset Integrated Care System (ICS) Workforce Delivery Team as part of the Dorset ICS People Strategy. Our Training Now Managing Director is an active member of Dorset Education and Development Group, the Dorset Care Training Partnership, and Our Dorset Leadership and Organisational Development group which is promoting training at level 6 and above

Our training
We deliver bespoke training using a wide range of methods, including in-person, virtual classrooms, and web portals. We also offer support to delegates with IT equipment, and are able to loan out tablets/laptops, and/or provide access to one of our training suites that have ICT equipment.
Mandatory training
We deliver mandatory training to healthcare providers, ensuring their teams are well trained and ready for Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
Short courses
Our delivery team provide mandatory and optional training online and in-person, either in your workplace or at one of our training centres nationwide.
Apprenticeships
Our apprenticeship programmes range from level 2 to 5 and cover all aspects of care, including Adult Care Worker Level 2 and Leader in Adult Care Level 5.
Funded training
We are one of few providers nationwide to offer government funded training at no cost to you as an employer, or your employees.
Bespoke training

Employability workshops
We support people to obtain/refresh employability skills including: CV workshops, interview techniques and searching for opportunities.
NHS partnerships
We have been working alongside Dorset CCG to develop a Dorset NHS and Care Vocational Scholarship programme.
This supports unemployed people moving into careers in care with work placements in our wider organisation, as well as plans to deliver a bespoke programme for Agincare care worker vacancies. We also delivered a service to the NHS Trust in Lincoln, with whom we have a good working relationship and were their preferred choice of provider.
Agincare partnership
As part of the Agincare group, we have an important relationship with services across the group, providing all in-house training and apprenticeships across their care services nationwide.

By discussing the options that are available for my staff and how to develop their skills and knowledge, regular contact with the assessor meetings and feedback, progress reports, staff are asked to give feedback on their learning. Our team
To fully support the delivery of our services, we have a highly skilled, qualified and experienced management and delivery team. With over 150 years of combined experience in health and social care training, Training Now is well placed to deliver high-quality, expert training to your organisation.
All team members, including administration colleagues, are required to complete and evidence a minimum of 30 hours Continous Professional Development (CPD) every academic year. As part of their CPD, all delivery team members are required to complete two days work experience within their specialist field of teaching and assessments. For all accredited instructors courses we require our team members to complete a refresher course within that field of expertise every two years; including First Aid. All are required at the end of the year to complete a training needs analysis to support their CPD for the year ahead; this includes purchasing external courses for updated and refresher courses.

As part of this programme we embedded short vocational training, and saw a high retention rate of 98%; of which 96% achieved an outcome of employment. We have also delivered functional skills qualifications to people referred by the Department of Work and Pensions within our training sites across the country.
