The care team and residents at our care home in Rochester are celebrating after being named among the very best in Kent.
Rochester Care Home on Pattens Lane in Medway, Kent has secured the highest possible score of 10 out of 10 on the leading review site www.carehome.co.uk, making it just one of nine to do so in the county. The outstanding rating is based on reviews from residents, families, and visiting professionals, making it a true reflection of the compassion, dedication, and hard work of the care home team.

A great team effort
At the heart of this success is longstanding registered manager, Irene Kinslow, whose leadership and passion inspire everyone at Rochester. Welcoming the accolade Irene said:
This is a fantastic achievement for Rochester Care Home! It means a lot to our team and we would like to thank our residents’ family and friends taking the time for their lovely comments. When I announced our new score of 10 out of 10 to the team, they all cheered! Keeping a 9.9 rating for two years has been incredibly challenging, but seeing our team receive the recognition they truly deserve makes it all worthwhile.
What makes this even more special is that the reviews come directly from those who matter most—our residents and their loved ones. It’s a tribute to the wonderful community we’ve built together at Rochester Care Home.
