The results from our annual live-in care client satisfaction survey are in, and to say we’re pleased is a bit of an understatement!
Our live-in care service gives a person one-to-one 24 hour care in the comfort and security of their own home from a carefully-matched care worker. Every year we send a survey to all live-in care clients, which they can complete themselves or with the help of a family member of friend.
This year 73 surveys were sent back to us. We’ve now been through all the responses…
Survey response highlights
- 100% of respondents strongly agreed or agreed that ‘My care workers support me in a way we have agreed’
- 100% of respondents strongly agreed or agreed that ‘I feel comfortable and safe with my care workers’
- 97% of respondents strongly agreed or agreed that ‘The service I receive from Agincare has helped to improve my quality of life’
- 95% of respondents strongly agreed or agreed that ‘Overall, I am satisfied with the service from Agincare’
- 89% of respondents said ‘Yes’ when asked ‘Would you recommend a friend to us if they needed a care service?’
People filling out the survey also had space to make comments if they wanted to. There were lots of positive comments about our care staff:
- ‘My Care Worker ‘E’ is excellent and goes above and beyond anything she is employed to do. She is one in a million’
- ‘We have been extremely satisfied and happy with the Care Workers we have come into contact with’
A fantastic team
Dan Steadman, Managing Director of Live-in Care said:
“The results are a testament to the fantastic people working right across our three live-in care areas (South-West, South-East and Central). Everyone works together – from responding to enquiries, to matching a care worker to a client, to delivering personalised live-in care, to managing an area – with the aim of supporting people to live their lives their way. I’m extremely proud of the whole team and what these results tell us about what their hard work does for our clients and their families.
“We’re always keen to hear what people think about our service and where we can improve, and we take our clients’ views seriously. We’ll be looking at the feedback to see where we can work together make our live-in care service even better as we are determined to improve the quality of life of 100% of our clients.”
