We are delighted to announce the opening of a new regional home care office in Witney High Street, delivering high quality home care in Oxford and the surrounding area.
Our team will predominantly work in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council to support people leaving hospital to recover at home and regain their independence. The ‘reablement’ service will help free up beds in hospitals across west Oxfordshire and Vale of the White Horse areas, with those discharged receiving six to eight weeks of support from Agincare’s visiting care workers.
The new office will also deliver high-quality, personalised home care, including privately paid for services, enabling people to remain independent at home with the support of a carefully matched care worker.
Manager Laura King (pictured below) has over 17 years’ experience of working in health and social care settings after starting her career as a care home assistant and working her way up to management positions.
Laura’s experience also includes time spent working with the NHS and stints supporting younger adults with complex needs. Laura, who is a new recruit to Agincare, said:
We’re excited to open the new branch in Witney and aim to quickly become part of the community, bringing Agincare’s high quality care services to the wider Oxfordshire area.
The work with Oxfordshire County Council should make a real difference by helping people that are leaving hospital to get back into their own homes and on the road to recovery just as soon as they can.
The Witney office is our latest home care branch to open nationwide, and is set to bring 100 new jobs to the area, with roles available now featuring flexible hours, competitive pay rates and a £750 welcome bonus.
As an independent care provider with over 35 years of experience of delivering high quality care we employ 3,500 people in more than 60 locations nationwide, with services including home and extra care, live-in care, care homes plus support for younger adults.
Agincare Home Care Managing Director Luke Holmes said:
We are excited to be entering into a long term strategic partnership with the local authority here in Oxfordshire and we would like to thank them for all their support to date. Despite challenges across the sector, Agincare UK is committed to expanding into new geographies in line with our longer term strategy.
I was delighted to meet Laura and the team when I helped to officially open Agincare’s new Oxfordshire office. I am sure they will do an incredible job, and make a real difference by helping people to regain their independence, and free up valuable bed space in hospitals.
