We are pleased and delighted to welcome Beaufort Park Care Home and Retirement Village in Burnham-on-Sea into the Agincare family’s growing portfolio of high quality care and nursing homes nationwide.
Agincare Founder and Chairman Derek Luckhurst officially opens Beaufort Park
Agincare Founder and Chairman Derek Luckhurst welcomed guests and officially opened Beaufort Park Care Home and Retirement Village with long-standing residents Margaret and Anne (pictured below) at a special open day recently. We were delighted to welcome friends and family of our residents, along with guests and visitors to welcome Beaufort into the Agincare family at the event on 16 November.
Comprising a Burnham-on Sea care home and independent, self-contained flats, Beaufort Park is a care village set in two acres of stunning landscaped grounds. The 33-bed care home and 12 self-contained apartments can meet a wide range of needs and requirements.
Agincare Chief Executive Raina Summerson (picture above right) said:
We are delighted to welcome Beaufort, its residents, apartment tenants and care team, into the Agincare family of care and nursing homes.
Beaufort Park is in safe hands. Agincare is a family-run, independent care provider with values to match and over 35 years’ experience of delivering high quality residential care and support in the heart of the communities that we serve.
We have exciting plans for Beaufort, and look forward to building a close relationship with the local community to support families in and around Burnham-on-Sea.
Beaufort’s new Registered Manager Natasha Chapman has over 20 years’ experience of leading care homes in North Somerset added:
We were delighted to welcome lots of visitors to the open afternoon at Beaufort Park Care Home and Retirement Village.
Our residents and care team thoroughly enjoyed themselves, a good time was had by all and I’d like to thank everyone that came along and made the event such a fantastic success.
Agincare was started over 35 years ago from a single care home in Dorset by our founder and Chairman Derek Luckhurst. We remain family owned and independent to this day, without the influence of private equity partners, providing confidence of a long term, sustainable future for those that draw on our services. This provides peace of mind, not only for our residents but also their loved ones too.
The completed acquisition of Beaufort from farming charity The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) followed a transition period to enable a smooth change-over for residents, apartment tenants and the existing care team. Beaufort has become increasingly popular under Agincare’s management during this time, welcoming many new residents from families across the area. It is rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission at last inspection.
