We are looking for Care Assistants to join our team to support with providing care to inmates at HMS Lewes.

What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • Driving license and use of own car is required for this role unless you live in the local Lewes area close to the Prison 
  • Shift pattern: 08.30am to 12.30pm Monday Saturday and Sunday 
  • Shift pattern 15.00 to 18.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

A day in the life of a home care assistant

As a Care Assistant, you will help support our customers in a variety of ways depending on their needs. This could include providing personal care, administering medication, light domestic duties, preparing meals and snacks, shopping and companionship.

  • Training will be provided for support in the prison including personal protection, suicide and self-harm in addition to Agincare' s standard induction training.

  • Please note that applicants will need to complete the HMP Lewes vetting process which could take a minimum of six week
