A day in the life of a Home Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you will help support our customers in a variety of ways depending on their needs. This could include providing personal care, administering medication, light domestic duties, preparing meals and snacks, shopping and companionship. But your most profound impact comes from the simple, everyday moments of connection, companionship and kindness you bring to those you care for.

About You

• No experience necessary - We provide comprehensive training, free of charge
• Good people skills and the ability to show strong empathy, with a caring and compassionate nature

• Driving license and use of own car is preferred for this role
• Flexibility to cover shift patterns 

Shift Patterns:

9am – 2:30pm – Drivers Only                                                                                                           

• Week One: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (8am start on the weekend)
• Week Two: Monday, Tuesday and Friday

3pm – 9pm – Driver Only

• Week 1: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Week 2: Monday, Wednesday Friday, Saturday and Sunday

7am- 1pm & 3pm – 9pm – Driver and Non Driver

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
• Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

9am – 5pm – Driver Only

• Domestic, shopping, sit in and taking clients out
